Rocky View, Colorado is a fictional
town that I created in my head from a mixture of small towns I have
traveled through, my love of the Rocky Mountains, and bits and pieces
of information I gleaned from the internet.
The first book in the Rocky View series
contains two novelettes: The Cowboy's Sexy Songbird and The Sheriff's
Passionate Princess.
This series would be considered
romance, but when I wrote them I wanted more of a story than just the
heroine constantly mooning over a hero that's more asshole than hero.
So I added a very independent and
strong female character with special abilities. A touch of
paranormal. Almost like a superhero, but not quite so comic book.
Then I mixed in a hero that is hot and
sexy and tough but not a jerk.
Add some adventure, a bad guy, and some
humor.
And the Rocky View Series was born.
